–Smith System, the leader in professional driver training, today announced its DOT Compliance Seminar Series which will provide information on CSA 2010 (Comprehensive Safety Analysis 2010) and the new SMS (Safety Measurement System). TThe Series is formatted as an interactive 2-day conference covering the details of CSA 2010 requirements and best practices for Accident Reporting, Record Keeping, Driver Qualification, Hours of Service, Controlled Substances and Alcohol Testing, CDL Requirements, Driving Rules and Maintenance. “The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has made it very clear that they intend to increase the frequency of fleet reviews and roadside inspections.” said Frank Powers, Sr. VP Sales and Marketing. “We want to help fleets be prepared for the new requirements of the Carrier Safety Measurement System and assist in making trucking safer in the process."
